I am learning to instantly recognise patterns to 5. 

I am playing my maths game of matching sets up with numbers.

"I know that 3 dots will be the number 3. 2 dots will look like the number 2" said Luke

I am learning to write tidy so that anyone can read my stories. Look at my letters and how they are sitting on the line.

"I can write under Miss J's words. But I am learning to find my words" said Luke

Reading

I am learning to recognise my high frequency sight words. Look at my game I can play, I can recognise, read and write my words! 

"I like playing this game. I can write my words" said Luke

I am learning to match lowercase letters to uppercase letters.

Writing

I can publish my story writing and illustrate my work. In our big book we learnt about the life cycle of a chicken. Here is my chicken.

We are learning to grow our own plants. We know it needs sun and water to grow. Take a look at what 4 weeks of growing looks like!

I am learning to look at the pictures to help me with unknown words.

"Pictures show me what to read" said Luke.

I am learning to identify numbers to their matching symbols.

"9 has 9 dots or beans" said Luke.
